The Story of the Seasons
Daniel wrote the Seasonal Poems as a complete set from 2013 - 2014, beginning in autumn. He wrote them during their respective seasons, using the changes of the year as inspiration. The four opus numbers of each set are not perfectly sequential because Daniel was still writing other music when . To be sure every musical poem was authentic, he limited himself to writing 6 pieces within a season. Combining all of these, Daniel planned that the 24 Seasonal Poems would represent all 24 major and minor keys.
